- Los New England Patriots llegaron por quinta ocasión consecutiva a la Final de Conferencia de la AFC, lo cual empata un récord con los Raiders de los 70s. Además esta franquicia va a disputar su Final de Conferencia número 12 en la historia, tercera mejor marca de la NFL.
- Rob Gronkowski anotó dos pases de TD contra los Chiefs y se convirtió en el TE con más recepciones de anotación en la historia de los Playoffs con 8.
- Todos sabemos del espectacular juego de Larry Fitzgerald. Ahora tiene 10 pases de TD en su carrera en postemporada y está empatado en tercer lugar en la historia, sólo detrás de Jerry Rice (22) y John Stallworth (12)
